My previous blog focused on questions, this time I am going to expand and talk about combining them with affirmations.


Questions can be asked in two ways.  If you looking at improving your financial situation.

How can I earn £20,000 a year?

Why am I earning £20,000 a year

You can set the annual earnings to whatever level you choose.

The more you focus on one question rather than jumping from one question to another, the more your mind will focus on the answer and draw it to you.

Affirmations and Questions

At this point, I would recommend you get a piece of paper, rather than trying to do it in your head.

Questions are going to be the tabletop and affirmations will become the table legs.

It’s probably easier to use the question “Why am I earning £20,000 a year?” to illustrate the point.

Why am I earning £20,000 a year?

List out positive affirmations that you believe will help you achieve this goal.  Some suggestions will suggest you already have the outcome.  Others will be about gradually getting to your outcome.

  • I earn 20,000 a year
  • I am successful in business
  • I make money easily
  • I am increasing my income more and more every day
  • Money flows to me easily
  • I am a money magnet
  • I have zero debt
  • I am expanding my wealth more and more every day

Each day in the morning and last thing at night.  Sit down with your piece of paper.  Ask yourself the question quietly in your mind.  Then repeat each of the affirmations you previously wrote on the piece of paper, do this for 5 or 10 minutes.  Either do quietly in your mind or out loud.  Then see if you can add any more affirmations to this list.

Going back to the questions, you can ask the questions “How can I earn £20,000 a year? and “Why do I earn £20,000 a year?” throughout your day quietly in your mind.  Alternate between both questions.

I am not sure what the outcome you are looking for?  But I would recommend sticking to one goal until you have achieved your objective.

I came across this hair loss remedy on Youtube.  I was actually looking at a way of reducing the grey hairs I have.  Hair loss is caused by DHT and the caffeine in tea is supposed to stop DHT in the hair follicles.  Alpecin hair loss shampoo uses caffeine, so there must be some truth in the remedy.

My main reason for using the black tea remedy.  I have already seen some improvement in a week or so.  Not sure how black tea reduces grey hairs and will update you on this.

How to make

Boil a kettle of water.  Pour onto three tea bags (PG tips will do or some people prefer to use Green tea) in a small jug.  Leave for an hour or more.   Pour into a squeezy bottle for spraying plants (purchase for a £1 from Wilkinsons).  Some people prefer to use an applicator bottle.


Store in a fridge


Wash your hair.  Once you have dried your hair, spray all over the scalp and massage in.  Groom hair as normal.

I will let you know my results, but this type of remedy takes months.  But there are some convincing videos on Youtube.

To start with I am going to explain how silent subliminals work and at the end of this blog, you will find a free silent subliminal recording you can listen to yourself.  You can judge for yourself whether silent subliminals are effective or not.

Masking affirmations with music.

Up until 20 years ago.  Subliminals were made by hiding affirmation tracks behind the sound of waves or music.  It was just a case of lowering the sound of the affirmations so they could barely be heard.

Silent Subliminals

Around 2000 Bud Lowery an American came out with silent subliminal.  All he did with sophisticated software was move an affirmations track outside the normal hearing range.  He is reported to have tested this on deaf people who couldn’t hear.  This technology was supposed to have been used in the Iraq war, silent subliminals were broadcast over the enemy communications lines telling them to surrender.

These silent subliminal affirmations are supposed to go directly into the subconscious mind, with no resistance from the conscious mind.

To start with I write down the affirmations I am going to put on a silent subliminal recording.  I then record them normally.  I then put them through the subliminal recorder and shift them to 16.5K.  You won’t be able to hear the affirmations consciously anymore, but you can see them on the following displays.  If you play the track through Audacity, you see the affirmation waveforms but you can’t hear them.




In the Oscilloscope, you see the normal sound waveform, even though you can no longer hear it.  If you were to play the silent subliminal through Audacity you will see a similar sound wave.




In the spectrogram, you can see the waveform lifted to 16.5K.




In the spectrum same again you see the sound wave at 16.5K.

I have created my own silent subliminal recording for health, wealth and lucid dreaming.  I noticed last night I was having rather a lot of dreams that I was remembering.  I am going to be playing my recording daily to confirm the results.

If you are asking negative questions your mind will focus on the negative and take you down into a negative spiral.  Whereas if you ask yourself positive questions your mind will start to find out solutions to your problems.

I decided to search on this topic before I wrote this blog.  To be honest I wasn’t impressed with what others had written on this subject.  I thought the questions were closed and quite negative from where I was standing.  I didn’t feel very enthusiastic after reading these blogs and they didn’t give me the answer I was looking for  There maybe some very good articles out there, but they aren’t being ranked highly by Google, which wouldn’t surprise me.  I hope this article creates more enthusiasm in you to change the questions in your life.

Questions versus affirmations

I will go into this in more detail in a future blog.  Let’s stay focused on the questions for the moment.

New discoveries

Many of these happen by chance.  But more often than not a great scientist will focus on a single question in their mind until they find a solution to the problem.


You maybe saying to yourself.  

Why can’t I make ends meet?

Why am I not being paid enough?

Why can’t I pay my bills?

Why are they being paid more than me?

While ever you ask these questions in your mind, your mind is going to search out this information and provide the evidence to you.  You will just drop deeper down into the above problems.  You have most likely learnt these questions from those around you as you grew up.

Better questions to ask yourself about your finances are.

How do I live more comfortably?

How do I earn XXXXX amount a year?

How do I become a millionaire?

How do I earn enough money from my business to live comfortably?

How do I live debt free?

How can I afford my ideal house?

How can I afford to go on a dream holiday every year?

Find an appropriate question to ask yourself about your finances and just keep asking it quietly in your mind every day until you have the evidence right there in front of you.   Big questions aren’t going to be answered over night, persistence is the key.  Try and find one short positive question that will remove all your financial concerns.


I believe that most disease starts in the mind.  I would say 95% of disease is psychosomatic.  What you tend to focus on in your mind will tend to appear in your body.

Asking the following questions aren’t going to help you.

Why am I ill?

Why am I overweight?

Why am I depressed?

Why do I feel so bad?

Why am I so unhappy?

What negative questions are you currently asking yourself about your health?

Change the questions you ask yourself about your health and let your unconscious mind come up with new solutions.

How do I become completely healthy?

How do I attain my ideal weight?

How do I feel good?

How do I become a happy person?

Ask these questions until you are blue in the face.  As well as seeking out health care professionals if you have a serious issue.


You maybe asking yourself the following questions.

Why am I so lonely?

Why have I no friends?

Why don’t people like me?

Why can’t I meet a member of the opposite sex to have a long term relationship with?

Why do I always go for the wrong man or woman?

Change to some more positive questions.

How do I meet my soul mate?

How do I make new friends?

How do I have more charisma?

How do I become more assertive with other people?

It’s best to find as few questions to ask yourself as possible and stay focused on these questions.

What other areas of your life aren’t working for you?

I reckon if most people answered the above three questions they would go onto live life’s that they loved.  There may be a specific question that doesn’t fit into the above areas.  Just write down the questions you are asking in that part of your life and change to positive outcomes.

How do I ask questions?

I don’t believe you have to ask the questions out loud.  Just keep repeating them silently in your mind throughout the day.  Be persistent and ask the question until you have the solution.

Write the questions down

As above.  Try and find as few questions as possible that will cause the greatest improvement in your life.  Write them down on a piece of paper.  Read them morning, midday and evening.  Say the questions to your self all day long.   Nobody knows what is going on in your head other than your self.

This recording is created as per Bud Lowery’s patent and I understand it was used for military purposes in the Iraq war.  I record the affirmations normally and then move them to a frequency outside the normal hearing range at about 16.5K.  There is supposed to be no conscious resistance to the affirmations.

Hypnotherapy is a naturally occurring state of mind that we all experience on a daily basis.  Primarily just before we go to sleep at night and first thing when we wake up in a morning.   You may also drop into the state of Hypnosis while dozing in the chair on a Sunday afternoon or some other restful time.  It’s a very light sleep where you are half awake and at sleep at the same time.

Driving a car or operating machinery

The only time it is dangerous to use Hypnosis is while driving a car or operating machinery.  I always warn clients about this each time they come to see me and at the start of all my online downloads.  If you were to listen to a recording while driving car, you could suddenly become very relaxed and lose your focus of attention on the road ahead of you.  This could then result in an accident.  The best time to listen to a Hypnotherapy recording.  Is in a quiet comfortable place, where you will be undisturbed for the length of the sessions.

Hitler versus Jesus

Going back to the dangers of Hypnosis.  Both of these people used a form of mass Hypnosis.  One for the good of man kind.  The other for all the wrong reasons.  Like anything in life tools can be used for both positive and negative outcomes.  This is a very extreme dichotomy.


I remember once talking to a local mental health unit in my local Town about working with their clients.  They were really concerned about clients going into a psychosis while under Hypnosis.   I know from my own experiences I had exhausted all that the NHS had to offer me and I didn’t want to use medication.   Even my doctor was very skeptical of me using Hypnotherapy, but said to carry on if I thought it was helping me.   If you feel necessary discuss with your doctor before seeing a Hypnotherapist, but most doctors won’t want to recommend a Hypnotherapist.  Local Health practices seem happy to make money from Hypnotherapists advertising their services on their appointment cards, but that is as far as it goes.


There seem to be two dichotomies when it comes to peoples views on Hypnosis.  Those who think it they can be made to do something with no effort on their own part, because of stage shows.  The others who fear doing something against their will, which isn’t possible.  Hypnotherapy takes time and daily use of a tailor made recording, that professional Hypnotherapists should provide you with after each session.  It’s not a quick fix solution.

There have been quite a few negative films made about Hypnosis.  For instance.  Telly Savalas played an evil Hypnotist in a Bond film. “On Her Majestys secret service”.  No wonder people get the wrong impression of hypnosis.


Hypnosis expands the state of mind you go into last thing at night and first thing in a morning, by a skilled Hypnotherapist guiding you into a deep trance like state using language.  Once in a deep trance like state of mind positive suggestions are made into your subconscious mind.  Unless the session is recorded onto a CD for you to take away you will be coming back to see the Hypnotherapist for years to attain goals.  It is so important to listen to the tailor made session you are given after each Hypnotherapy session on a daily basis.  I see clients monthly and it takes between 1 to 5 sessions to help clients achieve a goal.

The more secure you feel with Hypnosis, the deeper you will go into trance.  There is going to be some apprehension the first time you use Hypnosis, but once you have gotten over this initial hurdle, you will find yourself letting go the more you use Hypnotherapy.  It’s a little bit like abseiling when you go over the cliff edge, but once you feel the security of the rope, you enjoy the experience.

If it was suggested to do something that goes against your belief’s and values, it would immediately bring you out of a trance.

Can I get stuck in Hypnosis?

We all wake up in the morning after sleep.  The same with Hypnosis, you can’t get stuck in it, you would open your eyes when you are ready to.  You would probably get bored of just being in a trance and decide to open your eyes.  I always tell people that they can open their eyes and move anytime they choose at the start of my sessions.  If you ever feel in danger while under trance, you will open your eyes and ensure your safety and survival above anything else.  A loud bang in the room our outside would make you jump out of the Hypnotic state.

Choosing an Hypnotherapist

I always recommend that you choose a Hypnotherapist by recommendation from somebody you know.  Trust that your subconscious mind will direct you to a good Hypnotherapist.

I thought I would add this blog for my own benefit, as well as passing the information on.  I have bought hair tonics before, but they can be rather harsh, expensive and don’t have all the ingredients I want.  It’s very simple to do and you can tailor to your own needs.  My main concern is removing the grey streak down the centre of my head.  I am 53 so I haven’t done too bad compared with most of my age.

I used the following ingredients.


Red sage



Black Tea


DHT 5-alpha-reductase dihydrotestosterone

I used Red sage, Rosemary and Black Tea to reduce the grey hairs.  Black Tea is also supposed to be good for reducing DHT dihydro testosterone (5-alpha-reductase).  The caffeine in Black Tea is supposed to be good for blocking DHT the main cause of male pattern baldness that switches off the hair follicle.

Hair growth stimulants

Rosemary, Burdock and Nettles are both supposed to be good for hair growth and block DHT as well.  All the herbs are going to clean out the hair follicles over time.

Do your own research and add what you feel is necessary to the tonic.  Youtube is very good for this.

Making the Hair Tonic

Get a pan and boil the water.  Once boiled turn off and add the Sage, Red Sage, Nettle, Rosemary, Black Tea.  Just allow to stew for the next hour or so.  I used three Tetley tea bags for the black tea and purchased the other herbs from Wicker Herbal store in Sheffield.

Burdock needed to be boiled/simmered for 20/30 minutes to release the important part of the root and then leave to stew for an hour longer.

I purchase a squeezy bottle from Wilkinson’s used for spraying plants, which cost me a £1.  The herbs in total cost me about £5.  A cheap hair tonic with Rosemary will set you back about £11, but uses alcohol and is very harsh on the scalp.

I then sieved both solutions through a piece of cloth across a metal sieve to remove all the sediment so I only had a solution.

I then poured into my squeezy bottle.

Applying hair tonic

Easy for me as I have a number three hair cut.  I shampoo my hair every morning and towel dry.  I then spray the solution all over my scalp, but if you prefer you can use an applicator bottle.  Then massage into the scalp and groom your hair.  You can do morning and evening.

Keep the solution in the fridge.

I would be interested in feedback on your results.  The tonic certainly calms my scalp and makes it feel good, which should also help with any dandruff.

I recorded the sound of rain out in the countryside where I live.  You can increase the intensity of the rain by increasing the volume or soften by reducing the volume.   Good for back ground music and some people find the sound of rain helps them to sleep.  It sounds very much like white noise.  Play on repeat in the back ground.

Sound of wind

It was very windy this week.  I was concerned it would disturb a customer who came to see me.  The customer said that the wind actually helped them to relax.  It has given me an idea to produce a recording of the sound of wind.  I had never thought of wind as a relaxing sound.

An irrational fear would be considered a phobia.  For example being frightened of a normal house spider and being unable to remove one from the house.   I could understand the concern of spiders raising when in a country like Australia where they are more harmful.  But again it should be possible for you to deal with the matter without becoming hysterical.

Often I have to remove spiders from the bath before having a shower in the morning.  I prefer not to kill them if I can help it.  Often I will just get a bit of card and let the spider climb onto it and won’t even put it outside the house unless it is a really large one.

From my life experiences, it seems to be ladies who have phobias about spiders.  It is very rare I hear about a man having a phobia of spiders.  I sometimes wonder if this is down to the Nursery rhyme https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Miss_Muffet  Putting stories negative stories like these into children’s heads when they are so young, doesn’t sound wise to me.


I once had a customer come to see me about the fear of balloons bursting.  But I think this also extended to firework bangs.  The strangest phobia I heard of, was a lady who feared hanging out her washing when there were butterflies around.

Like I said previously phobias are irrational, so there may be 1000’s of phobias out there.

Fear of heights. Acrophobia

Having a fear of heights to some degree is good, but if it stops you climbing a ladder to repair the house, then it is more of a phobia.  If you had no fear of heights, you wouldn’t be careful when on high buildings.  I know when I paint the gable end of my house every other year, when I first go up the ladder my stomach may churn or I may shake a little, but once up there these feelings disappear.  People working on great heights often will lose these emotions, but still, need to be careful.

I remember when doing my engineering apprenticeship at British Steel Rotherham, they had us sat on the top of the main melting shop roof on Sheffield road.  The idea was to get us used to the fear of heights.  Some of this building still remains and is now called Magna.

Fear of snakes




I can remember going to a zoo when a child and seeing lots of poisonous snakes.  I have never been comfortable with snakes, probably because I haven’t been in contact with many.  However, I went into a local shop in Dinnington that sold them and I stroked the first one ever.    This snake was not poisonous but is a copy of snakes that can be poisonous.  Like with mushrooms and toadstools you have to be careful what is safe to eat and not safe to eat.  Ensure that you see an expert.




Whatever your irrational fear or phobia a professional Hypnotherapist should be able to help you.  It is so important that after the Hypnotherapy session you are provided with a tailor made recording on CD.  It is important to use this Hypnotherapy recording daily between sessions.  Miracles happen in one session, more deep-rooted Hypnotherapy sessions take up to 5 sessions.

I have had my Tibetan singing bowl for quite some years.  But this is the first time I have tried to record the sound and upload a video to Youtube. The recording isn’t perfect but it does give you an idea of the distinct sounds it makes.

To start with I strike the Tibetan singing bowl three times and then a short pause.   The Tibetan singing bowl is then rubbed by the striker to create a circular sound for a period of time.

I think the sound of the bowl can be altered by adding varying amounts of water.  I am not sure of any other methods of altering the sound.  But if you do know of any, give me a shout.

At some stage, I will record a more professional recording and sell this on my Hypnotherapy website.

My bowl is only about six inches diameter.  But I have seen bowls big enough for people to stand in, which send out much larger waves of sound.
