It is suggested that if you place three Chinese coins tied together in your wallet they will improve your finances.  They certainly aren’t going to do you any harm, but I would also suggest altering your thoughts for a more prosperous life.  I believe this is based on Placebo.

Placebo

Emile Coue found that if he gave people sugar pills instead of real medicine to patients, they often came back and told him they had been cured.  He then developed the formulae,  “Every day in every way I am getting better and better”.  Often in testing new medicines, they will have a group of people with using a version with a placebo.  A double bind.

You could suggest the following to yourself “Every day in every way I am becoming more and more prosperous”.  The more you say this formula the more you will believe, as it only suggests gradual change and fools the conscious mind.

Chinese coins

It is suggested you tie three together and place in your wallet or in corners of your house to attract more wealth.  If it helps people then I see no harm in it and it is a nice gift.

I bought a number of these Chinese coins from Ebay and tied together with red silk.  They do look nice and are quite a nice gift to give people.  I also placed one that had gone missing in my Money Toad.

It is also suggested you put a lucky coin under your doormat.   Hong Kong is a very prosperous City and Chinese coins are everywhere in their culture.  The circle depicts heaven and the square earth.

There is a definitive connection between mind and body.  90% of disease originates in the mind.  The problem is our national health service tends to focus on the body rather than the mind.  One day I hope the NHS learns and gets out of the vicious circle.  If you cure the disease from the outside, but not what thoughts cause it in the first place, it will only come back again.

Cancer

I have heard of people with cancer being cured by coming to terms with past memories that have created the disease in the body in the first place.  Robert Dilts an NLP expert helped cure his mother of advanced bone cancer, through helping her come to terms with childhood memories, years later the cancer had not returned.

Panic attacks

Years ago I suffered from panic attacks for about a year.  A few years later I looked at my personal records and noticed that was the period I sustained 90% of my sick days.   If I hadn’t have used Hypnotherapy and dealt with the memories troubling me, I would have expected my health to deteriorate even further.

Stress

Stress has a considerable impact on my health and from 18 to 26 I suffered from bad boils on my nose, that flared up occasionally.  Once I dealt with the memories that caused the panic attacks, my boils disappeared and my drinking reduced to safe levels.

Overeating, Smoking Excessive drinking

How many of the above issues do our population suffer from?  Overeating alone results in 25% of British people being obese and 25% overweight.   If the NHS dealt with the cause of these three issues which I believe in 99% of cases are down to wrong thinking, then the pressure on the NHS would reduce massively.  The problem is the NHS deals with the effects rather than the cause.  Overeating, smoking and excessive drinking result in some many different illnesses.

Many companies make vast amounts of money out of the various drug cures out there, wouldn’t it be nice to see them put out of business because people have control over their own minds and their health.

Brandon Bays Journey workshop

I once went on Brandon’s Journey workshops in London.  Brandon had a tumour on her uterus the same size as a basketball, after dealing with the memories that caused this, the tumour disappeared.   Brandon had no surgery on the tumour.  Her workshops showed people how to deal with past memories and stop physical problems.

Brandon had many stories about people who had benefitted from her work.  One chap on one of her courses who had been negative suddenly started shouting.  She thought she was in for another lecture on how the course didn’t do anything for him.  He realised he had driven to the workshop that day without his glasses and his eyesight was now OK.  It was in the middle of a two-day course.

Another story Brandon talks about is a dour Yorkshire coming to see her about cancer on his lungs.   After doing Brandon’s journey technique, he remembered finding his mother dead in the street during the 2nd world war shot by a German bomber.  He had harboured the anger in his heart since, which had resulted in cancer.  After releasing the trapped childhood memory and coming to terms with it,  the cancer on his lungs disappeared.  He had an X-ray and there was a slight scar left where the cancer had been.  The doctors and NHS wanted to claim credit for the cancer cure, saying it was something they had given him in the past that had suddenly worked, but in his heart, he knew what had cured his cancer.

Emile Coue

I once came across Emile Coue’s work.   Emile who was a French Pharmacist found that when he occasionally gave people sugar pills they came back and thanked him for curing them.  Basically, it was a Placebo effect.  He came up with the formulae “Every day in every way I am getting better and better”.  Emile’s books have 100’s of cases of people he helped through the power of suggestion.

Mantra’s and Positive self-talk

I recommend you seeing your doctor if you have a serious illness.  But why not use the power of suggestion to heal yourself at the same time.  Last thing at night as you go to sleep and first thing in the morning as you awaken suggest a gradually changing positive affirmation to yourself about your health improving.  You can always repeat the suggestion quietly in your mind throughout the day.   Because the suggestions only suggest a small change, the affirmations if repeated daily for many weeks or months, the physical condition improves and the body becomes healthy again.  For many people, they are too lazy and want a pill that takes away any effort on their own part, which means they never learn from the illness and over time get more severe levels of illness.

I suggest using the following formulae.

“Day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment I am growing more and more healthy in every way.”  The “every way” dealing with whatever illness you have.

Normally the affirmations are hidden behind the sound of waves so that you can barely hear them.  I have tried out various recordings like these since 1990.  Bradley Thompson has an online product that you can purchase explaining how to make these.

Silent subliminal’s.

First came across these when using the Centerpoint program.  I thought they were on the main Meditation CD’s.  However, I think they were only on the additional CD, that you could play at night.  Never really listened to this additional recording, but it brought silent subliminal to my attention.

Silent Subliminals were invented by Bud Lowery.  It was reputed that during testing the subliminal he could help certain deaf people hear.

Iraq war.

It was claimed that silent subliminal were broadcast over the communications lines suggesting to the Iraq soldiers and generals to surrender.

Subliminal recorder.

I purchased subliminal recorder a number of years ago.  This allows you to put a normal affirmation recording into the program and move the affirmations outside the normal hearing range.  I have produced a free 10-minute recording which you can listen to on Youtube.

Type ‘repeater‘ between ‘youtube‘ and ‘.com’ and your video will automatically repeat/replay in a loop.  Or create a Youtube playlist and put on repeat.

The affirmations have been left in their original state on the first part of the recording.  “Day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment, I am growing more and more healthy, wealthy and relaxed in every way”. and “Day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment, you are growing more and more healthy, wealthy and relaxed in every way”.

In subliminal recorder, there is a spectrogram that allows you to view your voice once it has been shifted to about 16.5Khz.

Hypnotherapy

If you want guaranteed results I would suggest using Hypnotherapy.  Hypnotherapy only works if you give it 1 or two months of daily use.  Hypnotherapy is no quick fix solution.  I still need a lot of convincing before I would be willing to sell Subliminal Mp3 downloads.

Self-talk recordings.

A step up from Hypnotherapy.   Involves listening to affirmations said in both the “I” and “You”.  Requires the Mp3’s to be listened to daily a number of times a day to get maximum results.  You can add to your portable phone and listen while travelling.

Sleep Hypnosis recordings.

This is a further development I am looking at.  A combination of Hypnotherapy and Self-talk.  20 minutes of Hypnotherapy.  Then a further 7.5 hours of self-talk repeated while you sleep.  I am testing the effectiveness of these recordings and will add to my Shop in the future.

I would recommend writing the affirmations two ways.   Write as though you have achieved them, but also as though they are gradually coming towards you.   The gradually towards yourself will more easily fool your mind into achieving your goal.  This was a famous affirmation by Emile Coue.  Every day in every way I am getting better and better.

It is also necessary for the affirmations to be said as ‘I’ and ‘You’.  I believe the ‘You’ talks more to the younger you, that is more resistant to change.

Keep the statements positive.  If I say to you “Don’t think about Pink elephants”  what happens.  Rather than “I don’t want to be overweight” say “I am my ideal body weight”.

Choose between 10/20 affirmations.

This is an example of a self-talk script to attain your ideal weight.

  •  Day by day, hour by hour moment by moment, I am attaining my ideal weight more and more.
  •  I eat the right amounts of food to attain my ideal weight.
  •  I eat healthy foods that my body can digest well and will give me all the energy I need.
  •  I exercise daily in a way that I enjoy and helps me to burn off excess amounts of body weight.
  •  I have a trim stomach.
  •  I am feeling more and more confident I can attain my ideal weight.
  •  I am patient with myself
  •  Day by day, hour by hour moment by moment, You are attaining your ideal weight more and more.
  •  You eat the right amounts of food to attain your ideal weight.
  •  You eat healthy foods that your body can digest well and will give you all the energy you need.
  •  You exercise daily in a way that you enjoy and helps you to burn off excess amounts of body weight.
  •  You have a trim stomach.
  •  You are feeling more and more confident you can attain your ideal weight.
  •  You are patient with yourself.

The next step is to set time aside daily to say these affirmations to yourself.  To reprogram your subconscious mind to change your beliefs and behaviours.

I would recommend saying the affirmations 5 minutes 4 times a day.  Say them slowly and confidently.  If you can say them aloud brilliant, the next best thing is saying them quietly in your own mind.   Carry out this action for one to two months, you have probably had issues with this goal for years, so it would be unwise to expect instant results.

You may prefer to start to listen to self-talk Mp3 downloads on your mobile phone, using headphones, especially if you have little time and are travelling to work.   If you prefer to hear somebody else external to yourself saying these affirmations until your own internal self-talk improves.  I have a number of self-talk MP3 downloads you can purchase, I also include positive questions to ask yourself, to guide you towards your goal.

Emile Coue is one of the grandfathers of self-talk, he was a French Pharmacist who found out that giving sugar pills, was as effective as real medicine if people believed it would work.  He then came up with the suggestion, “Every day in every way, I am getting better and better”.  He wrote a number of books nearly one hundred years ago after I read one of these books, I believe the medical establishment have gone backwards since in their cures.

I believe that many knew of the power of positive suggestion long before Emile Coue came along, but he was one of the first to document the cures he found happening, with a more holistic approach.  I can imagine that if Jesus really existed, he was using a similar approach.   This is a more conscious version of Hypnotherapy.

Every day in every way I am getting better and better.

Emile Coue recommended that you say “Every day in every way I am getting better and better” for 20 times out loud last thing at night before you go to sleep and first thing after waking up in a morning.   By reprogramming your mind in this way, he found most illnesses that medicine had failed with cured over time.

Hypnotherapy

In the early 1990’s after using Hypnotherapy to cure myself of panic attacks, I found about Shad Helmstetter’s version of self-talk through his book “What you say when you talk to yourself”.   Shad suggested that you wrote down a number of positive statements and then said them out loud to yourself through the day.  Shad also produced a number of tapes with self-talk statements on that you could purchase from him.  At the moment Shad Helmstetter is going through a new lease of life with many new books and his online recordings.
