I have just come across another survey suggesting that 80% of those between 40 and 60 are overweight, drink too much alcohol or don’t exercise enough. There is no talk of smoking in the headlines either. Yes take surveys with a pinch of salt, but walk along any High St and you see the picture for yourself.
People say they don’t have enough time to eat healthily or exercise, but the average Brit spends 4 hours a day watching TV and how many hours a day playing around on social media.
Why not walk a mile or cycle to the shop rather than getting the car out. I used to prepare a salad the night before when I worked at HSBC in Sheffield, it took me no more than 10 minutes and saved me a fortune in purchasing sandwiches. You don’t need to go to a gym to keep fit. Whether at home or staying away in hotels while working. Three lots of situps and press ups every day keeps you trim. Build up slowly, though.
Find a moderate, exercise route you enjoy. Running, Walking, Swimming, Football, Dancing etc.
Being overweight, not exercising enough or drinking too much will result in heart disease and diabetes 2 in the long term and many other diseases. I just wish the NHS would tackle the cause of many illnesses rather than dealing with the effect after. In the long term our tax money would be more efficiently used.
Other surveys have said that 25% of British people are overweight and 25% are obese. Not great that 50% of the population have a weight issue.
Most of the above are about choices people make, rather than something they have to live with.
If you are willing to accept responsibility for your own life, then Hypnotherapy could be the way forward for you.
The most important thing to do every day, is to learn to relax properly. Hypnotherapy will certainly help with this, this will reduce your heart rate. You will also find more clarity in your mind. You will make better decisions.
While in a Hypnotic trance, suggestions made to you have a greater effect on you. Suggestions can be made to control your weight, exercise more, improve your lifestyle etc.
I remember back in 1990 working on the road and in London and drinking double the government’s guidelines of about 20 units a week. Following Hypnotherapy treatment, my drinking reduced 50% to safe levels. Since that time my drinking has petered out. I can have a couple of drinks, then not drink again for months. I have saved a fortune in money, but also improved my health at the same time.
It can take 1 to 5 sessions of Hypnotherapy to help you achieve a goal. However, you need to use the tailor-made Hypnotherapy recording I provide you on CD after each session daily. If you aren’t willing to spend 30 minutes a day on your self-improvement, then Hypnotherapy isn’t for you.
Individual or business
If I can help you or any business to deal with issues, please give me a ring on 01909 282435 for a free 15-minute consultation. I can conduct stress management courses to help Sheffield businesses become more efficient and reduce illness days. If you are local I can see you face to face, if elsewhere in the UK or the world I can do a telephone consultation and provide a tailor made Hypnotherapy recording via a Mp3 download link.

Alzheimers and Dementia
My maternal grandparents who lived at Handsworth in Sheffield both suffered from either Alzheimers or Dementia. I saw first hand what these two mental illnesses do to people. Alzheimer’s is more dramatic and people can completely lose the capacity to care for themselves. People are being affected at a younger age by Alzheimer’s, probably due to the stress they suffer from. Dementia is more gradual and most people will suffer from this in different degrees as they age. Dementia sufferers tend to repeat themselves more often than normal.
Prevention rather than cure
Rather than trying to cure Alzheimers or Dementia. Prevention is the most important factor we should consider. However a Hypnotherapist maybe able to help lessen the symptoms of less severe forms of Alzheimer’s. Also, help reduce Dementia to some degree. I know of somebody who put their grandma on a light and sound mind machine and got good results.
Stress management course for Rotherham Learning network
A few years ago I did a stress management course for Rotherham learning network. The age of the group was about 65 to 85. My hypnotherapy techniques went down well on the day.
In order to reduce the chances of Alzheimers or Dementia. I would recommend careful consideration to diet, exercise, keeping the mind active and meditation. Dancing could have a dramatic effect on the well-being of older people, I have seen people hobbling into Tea dances in Sheffield City hall and then being more sprightly on the way out.
Hypnotherapy could help with the meditation side to help with relaxation. There are no quick fix solutions. It could take from 1 to 5 sessions to learn to relax correctly. Any professional Hypnotherapist should provide you with the tailor made Hypnotherapy session on CD. It’s so important to use this tailor made recording daily. I recommend a monthly Hypnotherapy session. But you can schedule sessions more frequently if you want.
Hypnotherapy should be a pleasant experience and help to retune the brain.
One to one or group work
I can work with individuals or groups in Sheffield, whatever your goals.
You can call me on (0044) 01909 282435 for a free 15-minute consultation.

You can purchase a number of Hypnotherapy downloads on my website shop. I recommend starting with the sleep and relaxation download.

When talking about Post-traumatic stress disorder, most people think of warfare. However, people involved in a serious accident could also suffer from P.T.S.D.. During the first world war, soldiers suffered terribly from shell shock. Hypnotherapy and Psychoanalysis were used to help soldiers deal with the causes of their mental health illness.
Post-traumatic stress disorder is just a medical label to name this specific mental illness. Mental illnesses have a cause, therefore they have a resolution. If a soldier is subjected to extreme battle combat, that memory is going to be heavily printed on their subconscious mind. Any negative memories printed on your subconscious mind, are going to effect your beliefs and behaviours.
People suffering from PTSD are going to keep reliving those memories in their minds, as though they are back in that situation. That could cause them to behave in an aggressive way to others or even self-harm. Soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder can end up on the streets or prison due to the effects.
In order to help soldiers or people involved in a terrible accident come to terms with the issue. It is necessary for them to re-see these events in their minds from a safe distance. When suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, the individual is stuck in this feeling. During the 1st world war, soldiers suffering PTSD were shown how to live these events from a safe distance using Hypnotherapy. By knowing how to relax correctly, individuals can rise up above these memories and see them for what they are.
Once individuals suffering from P.T.S.D. see these unresolved memories for what they are, they find peace within themselves.
I know my suffering from panic attacks while working in London. Are trivial in regards to somebody who’s life was under threat in a war zone, but they are a less severe case of post-traumatic stress disorder. But this will give you an idea how the PTSD issue can be resolved. My panic attacks came on under extreme pressure, while working around the country, but especially in the centre of London. I thought an office job back in Sheffield would resolve the issue, but my panic attacks just got worse.
Following Hypnotherapy treatment, I was taught to relax and view my issues more objectively. What I found was that memories from my childhood that I had repressed started to materialise. Once these memories started to appear, I felt uncomfortable to start with. However, over time, I could see these memories as an adult rather than a child. My panic attacks disappeared and boils I had regularly on my nose disappeared. These memories from my childhood sometimes flicker through my mind, but they no longer have an effect on me.
While working at H.S.B.C. in Sheffield. A colleague who had worked in Northern Ireland as a soldier. Said that the fear factor in our office was more severe than their time in Northern Ireland, where they were under threat of losing their life.
Severe post-traumatic stress disorder is not going to clear up in one session of Hypnotherapy, it could take a number of sessions to resolve. On top of that, I always provide a new tailor made Hypnotherapy session after each session. It is so important to listen to this tailor-made Hypnotherapy recording on CD on a daily basis.
People suffering from severe post-traumatic stress order will find issues arising from their childhood, as well as events from the warfare zone. They probably became a soldier due to events in their childhood in the first place.
I work one to one with individuals in Sheffield, can do group sessions and have a number of off the shelf Mp3 Hypnotherapy downloads on my website shop. My area of expertise is panic attacks, however, I can cover a broad range of issues using Hypnotherapy.

I was watching a documentary on U.F.O.s. There was mention in that documentary about an individual being used to remote view on the dark side of the moon. This individual was asked to confirm the existence of a base there, by the American secret service. Whether these facts are true or not is another thing. This gave me the inspiration to write this blog.
American and Russian governments
Both the Americans and Russians have set up departments in the past to remote view each other. The Americans claim their department has been closed down, but I suspect it has been covertly hidden. There are a whole set of ethical considerations when remote viewing. Would you like others to spy on your activities? Therefore be very careful what you decide to use this skill to achieve?
Astral travel/Lucid dreaming
I have never remote viewed myself. However, this seems to fit in quite closely with Astral travel and Lucid dream. I studied Lucid dreaming travelling quite a lot and used to do it on a regular basis. There is no difference between Astral travel and Lucid dreaming. Astral travel seems to be associated with people who fall asleep from a waking state to Lucid dream. Lucid dreaming is more from the sleeping state into a dream.
The Astral travel/Lucid dreaming state of mind can be used to Remote view if you so choose. It’s a case of setting the intention to remote view. There have been some in-depth studies into this. The reason the American and Russian governments have used it to spy on each other. It’s very easy to prove that Remote viewing works. If you have the remote viewer in one room. In the other room get somebody to draw or write something on a piece of paper. It’s then a case of comparing notes. Studies have shown this to work accurately if the remote viewer is proficient at it.
I have read books where people have Astral travelled into a friends room. In one case the friend could actually see them as though they were a ghost. This would allow them to view information on a desk in front of them. I am told that it isn’t possible to read real writing when Lucid dreaming. Occasionally I have been able to do it.
By using Hypnotherapy to get into an Astral or Lucid state of mind, you can set the intention to remote view. Like I said be careful what you remote view. Perhaps you may just wish to visit a town in a foreign country. You may wish to see what it is like there, before going on holiday.
I am not sure if you would class remote viewing as travelling into another time period. To see what was happening in the past or the future. I believe this could be a really interesting way to use remote viewing.
I hope this whetted your appetite for Lucid dreaming/Astral travel and what it could be used for.

A recent study by scientists of major Western cultures has suggested that many British workers are deprived of sleep. Lack of sleep will result in lower productivity. America and Japan has a worse issue than the UK. This study was pretty comprehensive, but with any study, I would take with a pinch of salt. You can search on this if you are looking for specifics of the research.
Rotherham learning network Stress management courses
I ran stress management courses for Rotherham Learning network a number of years ago. One particular course was for 10 working ladies. Most of the ladies told me how poor their sleep was every night in the group discussion. On average it was lower than six hours a night. 7 to 8 hours sleep is required for maximum efficiency during the day.
Reduced sleep patterns could result in a lower life expectancy if carried on over long periods of time.
HSBC bank Sheffield
While working at HSBC bank in Sheffield, I came across colleagues who had sleep issues. Many were defeated before the day began and this lowered their productivity. Many people talk about stress being due to the job, but if they were totally honest, many would have to admit they bring their baggage to work with them as well. Over stretching them financially or a stressful relationship at home.
I know from my own experiences when working for HSBC and suffering from panic attacks and poor sleep patterns. Once I dealt with issues from my own child hood, especially around loneliness. Sleep patterns improved and stress dissolved.
Poor sleep patterns can be due to over work. However, it is most likely people have unhealed issues in their subconscious mind. Once these unresolved issues are dealt with, sleep patterns get back to normal. Not being assertive enough, is one of the reasons why people extend themselves too much in the first place.
Sheffield businesses stress management courses
I did run a number of Stress management courses for Pringle training in Sheffield. I really enjoyed running these courses. Staff who had heard about my methods on previous training courses. Looked forward to coming on my courses.
Not enough Sheffield businesses value their staff and invest in them. Teaching your staff to relax and focus better on tasks, increases productivity. Some times you have to speculate, to accumulate. Too many businesses see staff as cannon fodder. Too many businesses prefer to have their staff on edge, using fear as a motivation technique, but this only back fires in the long run.
I can certainly come into your Sheffield or Rotherham business and teach your staff how to relax and increase productivity. Contact me on 01909 282435 if you want to talk further on the matter. If you are a training company who would like to add Stress management to your portfolio, I would be happy to deliver stress management courses for you. I have my own way of working with people, I don’t stress people out with facts on stress management.
One to one Hypnotherapy Sheffield
If you are an individual in Sheffield with sleep issues I can see you on a one to one. The best method I have found for improving sleep problems is Hypnotherapy. Once you learn to relax properly, repressed emotions can be released by your subconscious mind. You can then go to sleep better and to feel more in control of your daily life. It can take from 1 to 5 sessions to resolve issues. You will also be provided with a tailor made Hypnotherapy recording on CD. It is so important to use the tailor-made Hypnotherapy session daily between recordings.
I do a number of Hypnotherapy Mp3 downloads and you can purchase a sleep and relaxation recording on my Hypnotherapy shop. These recordings are good value for money but do require daily use for a month or two to get maximum results.

Fear or Phobia of the dentist
I smashed my front teeth when coming over the handlebars of my bike when I was 12 years old. There was no time for me to build up a phobia or fear about dentists. I spent a lot of time at the dentists and actually found the experience quite calming. Not everybody feels calm and confident at the dentist, for reasons known to them. Phobias can seem very large in your own mind.
A few years ago I was concerned about having a tooth extracted. I hadn’t had a tooth extracted for 30 or so years. Last time I had a tooth extracted it was under general anaesthetic. This time I used a local anaesthetic. I couldn’t believe how quick the tooth extraction was and time passed so quickly in my mind. My memories of tooth extraction as a child were false beliefs.
History of dental Hypnosis
You may be interested to know that hypnosis was used in dentistry. Long before stable local and general anaesthetic were available. I have even seen somebody having a tooth extracted while under hypnosis. Their heart rate never changed. Not something I would personally recommend. But it does give you the idea of the power of Hypnotherapy.
You will most likely find your body healing much quicker after work at the dentist. Especially if you have a tooth extracted. Under the influence of hypnosis. James Esdaile used hypnosis to operate on patients in India in the middle of the 18th century. He found the recovery rate from operations was much quicker under Hypnosis.
I am not sure how long you have had a phobia of going to the dentists? Or what your specific fear of the dentist is?
Hypnotherapy could help you to feel more calm, confident and safe at the dentist. To start with I will find out a little about why you fear the dentist. Each person’s fears and phobias are personal to you. Once I know a little more about your dental phobia. I will then relax you into a deep state of hypnosis. Once in a deep state of hypnosis. I will suggest positive outcomes into your subconscious mind, that will start to change your beliefs about the dentist.
After each one to one Hypnotherapy session, I provide you with the tailor-made session on CD. It is so important to use this tailor-made recording daily. This will increase the power of the positive suggestions made to your subconscious mind. Each time you go into Hypnosis. You will find your self-going deeper down into Hypnosis and the positive suggestions will become more embedded in your subconscious mind.
You may find that you are repressing memories from your childhood, that have given you a phobia of the dentist. Under Hypnosis you will start to remember these repressed emotions. You will then re-look at these childhood memories as an adult. You will look at these childhood memories differently and file them away in a more healthy way.
The positive suggestions will start to change your beliefs and behaviours so that you feel more calm and confident at the dentist. One of the positive benefits of Hypnotherapy is the relaxed state of mind you carry around you during the rest of the day. While at the dentist you will find negative feelings dropping away, as you stay in a calm relaxed state of mind.
Miracles happen in one session of Hypnotherapy, but more deep-rooted phobias about the dentist could take up to 5 sessions.
I welcome calls from individuals or dentist practices wishing to use my services to help fearful patients.
You can see me face to face in Sheffield. I can work with individuals elsewhere doing a telephone consultation. You are then provided with a tailor-made Mp3 download to listen to daily.

I ran the Sheffield Marathon back in 1985, I hit a very respectable time of 3 hours 10 minutes for 26 miles. At the time I didn’t know a thing about diet or psychology. This was only my second Marathon and I did it through sheer willpower. I wonder what I would have achieved if I had known anything about diet and psychology. I was only 21 at the time.
N.L.P. and Hypnotherapy
A few years later I went through a very stressful part of my life when working in London and used Hypnotherapy to help me resolve the issue. I then trained as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming master practitioner (N.L.P). Which encompassed all the most important fields of psychology.
Over the years I have worked with many individuals on various aspects of their life’s. I know one customer came to see me about stopping smoking and what they found at the same time their golf game improved. I have had a customer come specifically to see me about improving their golf handicap.
Pure Hypnotherapy deals with things in a more unconscious way, while pure N.L.P. deals more with things on a conscious level. I tend to intertwine both techniques.
Individual or team sports
Whether you are an individual or team looking to excel in your sport. Whether that is Football, Cricket, Running, Hockey etc. I can assist you to achieve the positive outcome.
Tailor-made CD or MP3 download
Whether working with a teams sport or an individual, I will tailor make the Hypnotherapy session to your needs. After each Hypnotherapy session, I will either provide the individual with a CD copy of the session or the group with a Mp3 download. I would highly recommend using this recording daily to get the best out of it. You will also find your stress levels reducing as you find time to listen to the recording on a regular basis.
Physical versus mental exercise
Physical training alone is not the answer to achieving the top in your chosen sport. It’s been proven that mental training and rehearsing in the mind, can produce even better results than physical training alone. Olympic diving and basketball are a couple of sports where this has been proven beyond doubt. You only have to look at the success of Andy Murray, while his coach has been Ivan Lendl. 99.99% of the top sportsmen out there are going to see mental training as important as physical training, whatever their sport.
Why not give me a ring and see if I can assist you as an individual or a sports team. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Football, Cricket, Hockey, Swimming, Cycling, Running
You may not want to be a top sporting professional, you may only want to attain your ideal weight or get the confidence to exercise. I can also help you to succeed in your chosen goal, which is as important to you.

I have been Lucid dreaming for about 20 years now. I came across a tool called the Nova dreamer that Life tools were selling and had my first Lucid dream using this mask. It was necessary to look for flashing lights during the day and tell yourself the next time you saw a flashing light, that you would have a Lucid dream.
The Nova dreaming mask had electronic circuitry that detected when you were in rapid eye movement and started flashing, the reason for associating flashing lights with Lucid dreaming. It was a bit of a nuisance wearing the mask at night, but it was effective at triggering Lucid dreams.
Since that time I have learnt how to Lucid dream in much simpler and cheaper ways and Hypnotherapy is an effective way to program your mind to have Lucid dreams. Some people have naturally learned to Lucid dream without even trying, when I have talked to people about Lucid dreaming, the odd person has said they do it naturally.
Steven Laberge is the Godfather of Lucid dreaming when it comes to recent research into Lucid dreaming. He has carried out many experiments with Lucid dreaming at Stanford University in the U.S.A. He has written a number of books on the subject.
Lots of people like to claim that Astral travel is something different to Lucid dreaming. But if you study Lucid dreaming, you will find that you can access a Lucid dream from the waking state, which is no different to how Astral travel works. It is known as a wake-initiated lucid dream.
Wake-initiated Lucid dream. W.I.L.D.
This technique to invoke a Lucid dream is usually used when you wake up in the middle of the night. You count yourself back to sleep, saying 1 I am dreaming, 2 I am dreaming, 3 I am dreaming etc. Until you access the dream state and Lucid dream.
Dream-initiated Lucid dream. D.I.L.D.
This is usually achieved by becoming aware that strange things are happening to you during the dream, that wouldn’t happen during real life.
It’s said that you can’t really read during a dream, the text on the page will change too quickly. Periodically look at a Card with “Lucid dreaming” written on it, turn away and then check the card again to see if you can still see the text. Asking yourself the question, Am I dreaming?
By doing this check a number of times during the day, at specific events during the day: such as coming in your front door, going to the toilet. You are at some point going to do the reality check during your dreams and when you look at the card and back, you won’t see the text and will know you are dreaming.
When you first have a Lucid dream, it is likely to end quickly with the shock. But as you become more experienced at Lucid dreaming, there are techniques to extend the Lucid dream, such as learning to spin in your dreams. You will also need to set an intention to have a certain kind of Lucid dream while in the normal waking state so that you have the Lucid dream while dreaming.
Benefits of Lucid dreaming.
The list of benefits of Lucid dreaming is infinite:-
Learn a new skill.
Travel to a place you have never been.
Deal with issues in your life that you are scared of.
Meet a Guru who can help you with a problem.
Travel to other planets.
Travel to other realities.
Hopefully, I have whetted your appetite to Lucid dream or Astral travel.

Past life regression
It’s impossible either way to prove that people have more than one life or not. I have heard of people recounting past life’s. But I believe they are tapping into the subconscious mind, where a record of anything that has ever happened is stored.
Neuro Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.)
While I was doing my N.L.P. training. I did an exercise with a girl and her whole face changed. She claimed to go back into the past hundreds of years, where she had her hands chopped off.
The Akashic records are supposed to be a store of all the life’s ever lived, which can be tapped through your unconscious mind. I once went to a Spiritual church and the same night dreamed of this library, it was a Lucid dream and reminded me of a being in a “Doctor Who” type film.
Many people would like to believe that the issues in this life are being caused by a past life, that they have to resolve. However, I believe that if you have an issue. Forget past life’s you are repressing something so deep in your subconscious mind, that you are unaware of it.
Hypnotherapy will help you get to the root of this repression and release the prisoners that are causing unhappiness in your life. There are no guarantees that you will have a 2nd life. Make sure you live this life to the best of your abilities. If you do have a 2nd life in the future, then it’s a bonus.
I don’t believe that counselling can get to the heart of a repression. You have to be relaxed into such a deep trance, to allow you to release repressed memories from your subconscious mind. Talking about issues isn’t enough to release deeply rooted prisoners of the subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy was used during the 1st world war, to help sufferers of shell shock, release the troubled events they suffered.
Hypnotherapy is a naturally occurring state of mind. We access this state of minds many times throughout the day. Last thing at night before you go to sleep or first thing in a morning before you wake up. When people see ghosts or UFO’s it’s most likely they are in this dreamy state of mind first thing in a morning or last thing at night.
Have you ever driven down a road and not realised it. It was as though you were hypnotised to carry out this action, without any conscious effort on your own part.
Your body and mind go through a natural cycle every 90 and 120 minutes, called the Ultradian rhythm. If you try and ignore this natural rhythm in the long term, it is going to result in stress. Those doing a desk-bound job, will notice this state of mind more, as they drop into a more trance-like state of mind. This state of mind is dreamy and very like hypnosis. Accept this natural rhythm every 90 to 120 minutes. You will find yourself recharging naturally and achieving more work in the long term, with fewer mistakes.
Hypnotherapy extends this natural state of mind, to allow you to relax and release any repressed emotions from your subconscious mind so that your mind and body can heal and become whole again. Positive suggestions made into your subconscious mind, while in a deep state of Hypnosis, will help you to change beliefs and behaviours over time. It may take anything from 1 to 5 sessions of Hypnotherapy to help with an issue. Daily use of a tailor-made Hypnotherapy recording on CD between sessions is necessary. A professional Sheffield Hypnotherapist will provide you with a tailor-made recording, each time you see them.
If I can help you come to terms with repressed emotions that are causing stress, poor sleeping, anxiety using Hypnotherapy, give me a ring on 01909 282435 for a free 15-minute consultation.
All the best
In the 1990’s I started suffering from panic attacks, these came on after working in central London. Things went drastically wrong when working at the flagship Midland Bank branch at Poultry and Princes st in London. I had set off at 5:30 am in the morning by car to London from Sheffield and due to a serious issue with the Telecommunications equipment in the branch. I didn’t go back to my hotel until 12 am the next morning. While walking past the Tower of London, I started having this strange feeling, which I later found out to be panic attacks.
I spent a further year on the road around Britain refitting Midland branches with the latest Telecommunications technology before I could tell my management that I couldn’t cope with the job. The stress associated with working in London spread to working elsewhere in the country, as the expectations on me were far too great. I will give you an example, I set off at 5:30 am to Bristol, was diverted to Poole in Dorset and then arrived at my hotel in Bangor at about 11 pm that night. Luckily the Welsh lady whose bed and breakfast hotel I stayed at, was good enough to cook me Scampi and chips, as I hadn’t eaten all day.
National Health Service
I expected my stress to disappear once I took up an office based job in Sheffield, but my stress and panic attacks just got worse. At this point, I was taking quite a few sick days and seeing my doctor on a regular basis. Thankfully I was living at Beighton at the time and received a good service from my doctor.
I was given a relaxation tape to listen to by my doctor, but it didn’t help me relax. I was then sent off to see a Counsellor but only attended the first session, as I believed that the process was a complete waste of time. At this point, I decided to pay privately to see a Psychoanalyst based at Killamarsh.
After about 7 sessions, the issue that was causing my panic attacks started to surface, but I couldn’t face up to the issue. I left a cheque in the reception of the clinic I was attending, saying I was now OK, even though I wasn’t. All the psychoanalyst used to do was relax me into Hypnosis, using music and a spinning circle. For the next 30 minutes, she then asked me what I was thinking next, it was pretty intrusive and made me feel uncomfortable. The trouble is if you are really suffering from panic attacks, you will do whatever you need to do to resolve them.
3 months later my panic attacks hadn’t got any better, so I went to see another Hypnotherapist at Killamarsh. The experience was much more gentle and enjoyable. To start with we used to have a 15 meeting talk about my issue, I was then relaxed into a deep state of Hypnosis and positive suggestions were made into my subconscious mind. I received a tape of the Hypnotherapy session each time I went to see the Hypnotherapist, which I played daily between sessions. I saw the Hypnotherapist weekly for 10 weeks. This time the issue that was causing my panic attacks surfaced again, I was able to talk to the Hypnotherapist about it and eventually my own dad. At first these repressed memories made me feel very uncomfortable and sick in the stomach, but eventually, this feeling went away, along with my panic attacks.
Throughout my time seeing the Hypnotherapist, I talked to my GP about it, who didn’t seem too enthusiastic towards Hypnotherapy. One of my sisters who was a sister in a hospital said that it was stupid to see a Hypnotherapist. But as far as I am concerned, I believed counselling to be a waste of time and wasn’t willing to live the rest of my life on medication, I refused medication full stop.
At the end of seeing my Hypnotherapist, I had the confidence to tell my doctor I couldn’t cope and he gave me a month off work. During this time I recovered fully from my panic attacks and by the time the doctor sent me off to see a psychologist due to my time off work, they were satisfied that I had dealt with my mental health issues.
Rony Robinson Radio Sheffield
When I left HSBC Sheffield 8 years later, I went on the Rony Robinson show talking about my panic attacks. I had really forgotten what it was like to have an actual panic attack, so it wasn’t until I sat in the car after the interview and remembered exactly what they were like, but from a safe distance. Panic attacks are different for different people. I suffered from sleeping badly at night, waking up in the middle of the night with cold and warm sweats. When the panic attack feeling hit me, I dreaded the pumping of cortisol in my arms, the fight-flight response.
The solution for Panic attacks.
If I was helping you to come to terms with panic attacks. For the first 10/20 minutes, I would find out more about your issue. I would then relax you into a deep state of Hypnosis, using a number of visualisation techniques and then plant positive suggestions into your subconscious mind. You would then be given a tailor-made Hypnotherapy session to take away on CD and I can also send you a Mp3 file to install on your phone.
The most important thing to do between sessions is to listen to the tailor-made Hypnotherapy recording on CD on a daily basis. It can take from 1 to 5 session to help you find a solution, which can be scheduled monthly.
As you listen to the tailor-made Hypnotherapy recording, you will start to release the prisoners from your subconscious mind, that is causing you to have panic attacks. Positive suggestions made into your subconscious mind while in a trance will change your beliefs and behaviours so you are better able to deal with your daily life. The relaxed feeling you feel while under Hypnosis, will be carried over into your daily life, so that you feel more in control of your life and achieve more, life will start to flow smoothly again.
Please give me a ring on 01909 282435 for a free 15-minute telephone consultation, to see if Hypnotherapy, is a viable solution for you. If you don’t live close to me I can do a telephone consultation and then send you a tailor-made Hypnotherapy recording via mp3 link. Alternately purchase an off the shelf recording on my Hypnotherapy shop.
All the best
